Any predictions on the Robert Felner front? Will he do jail time? [Page One]

Don’t worry! Kids, education and the environment absolutely do not matter. Those are the areas impacted most by budget cuts proposed by Steve Beshear. [More Page One]

Steve Beshear and David Williams are apparently psych jobs who need some serious help working together. [Joe Gerth]

Is Rand Paul’s other new campaign staffer going to be exciting? In a word, YES. [Barefoot & Progressive]

Beshear’s office says he likes to study the issues. Except when those issues involve comprehensive tax reform and anything that isn’t, you know, gambling (that doesn’t involve a constitutional amendment, which he originally pushed). [Stephenie Steitzer]

Rich Brooks who? [H-L]

Jim Gray received 235 contributions in just under four days. Kind of major. Should have Jim Newberry nervous. [Email Blast]

I apologize right now for my obsession with Kentucky State Parks. But make sure you check out the Winter Adventure Weekend planned for January 29-31 at Carter Caves State Resort Park. [Click the Clicky]

Ben Chandler: still Kentucky’s most embarrassingly timid representatives. [Talking Points Memo]

Crist can be counted on but not to support conservative values or projects. Charlie works for one thing–Charlie. I know the man and was close in when he was one of four on Florida’s state Cabinet. His ambition is to be President, but his moral standards will never stay clean enough to get him there.

    Moral standards?

Are you alluding to the fact that Crist is a known homosexual, despite his marriage?

(I’m basing this on the stuff presented in a recently released documentary about hypocrites….)

Jake your title of “Dying of Poverty & Ineptitude in the Bluegrass”

Brings to mind my husband talking about his dad’s quoting an old sage advice on financial planning —

“If your outflow exceeds your income, your upkeep will be your downfall.”

    Great advice for all.
