For years. This cost me money. This cost Leslie Holland money (way more than me). All to get the state to do its job. The truth has finally arrived.
Letting him off the hook with misdemeanors (the entire legal system in Kentucky should be ashamed) might be laughable, but it’s not over yet. Wait till the feds do their thing.
Much praise should be directed toward the two special investigators who worked the better part of three years to uncover an absolute nightmare of law breaking. May their work live in infamy and prove valuable for other branches of law enforcement. Hopefully this case will help push campaign finance reform in Kentucky.
Yeah, this means I’ll finally shut up.
Innocent people don’t enter Alford pleas. And they don’t pay what is effectively a $600,000+ fine.
Oh, and Steve? How dare you accuse me of fabricating the crap you’ve pulled over the decades and for having the gall to attack Leslie Holland. How dare you have Kimberly Greenwell accuse me of lying about this investigation. Cause it turns out everything was a hot, hot mess unlike anything anyone could have imagined.
Take a trip down memory lane with some Steve Henry television flashbacks after the jump…
Haha, here’s a video of Steve Henry sneakily avoiding questions about his, you know, Medicaid Fraud scandal he settled with the U.S. Government for $162,000:

Turns out he’s right – no politician had given $100,000 to Bucks for Brains. Not even Steve Henry. Those anti-biotic beads? Turns out he didn’t “invent” them, either. And he obviously didn’t “invent” ethanol.
Oh, here he is lying to Mark Hebert about all of his fancy campaign finance law breaking:

Sadly mistaken? Leslie Holland was right – Steve had a serious problem with the truth. I’m still laughing that Hebert didn’t white out my damn fax number on those documents. Nice cameo by Kimberly Greenwell.
Here he is lying to the AARP about being a physician at the University of Louisville:

Turns out? He hadn’t been a physician at UofL in over a year. And no we know UofL – thanks to lawsuits and open records – was working hard to oust Henry from practicing medicine once and for all.
More lying to Mark Hebert? Blaming peoples’ “agents” for attacking him.

What was that he’s done for Kentucky out of the goodness of his heart, again? Eh?
Here he is getting fired from UofL, and lying about the reasons behind his ouster:

Blaming “innuendos” being used against him because he thought he was in the lead?

Innuendos? What? Yeah, about that….
More lies to WHAS11:

Guess what? He HAD spoken to State Police investigators. There WAS significant truth to ALL issues. And accusing Leslie Holland of perjury? Hahahaha. Reality’s a bitch.
Here he was continuing his legacy of financial corruption:

Here are a few (or six) videos of Steve at Democracy for America.
Opening remarks:

Q&A Part 1:

Working at Walter Reed? Treated Jessica Lynch? Haha. My favorite part of the night was when a questioner asked Henry about WKU paying his Medicaid settlement and his myriad health care scandals. He blamed another woman for another scandal. And he skirted questions about potential tax fraud.
Q&A Part 2:

He’s a “significant believer in math” until it gets his rear end caught for massive campaign finance fraud, it seems. Lied about being a practicing physician by saying he had taken a leave of absence. In reality, he was canned by UofL and his license was under review.
Interesting that he said he wasn’t going to buy a “foreign product” for his child… but ended up working with his wife – in China. (Here & Here)
Q&A Part 3:

Natural gas vehicle? Uh, apparently that never happened. And Future Fund? 21st Century Parks had to threaten him with a lawsuit to get him to turn over lands/stop him from personally benefiting from lands purchased with non-profit funds.
Claiming his position as Lt. Governor was productive? Somebody in the press should ask Paul Patton and Crit Luallen what they have to say about that.
Hilarious to watch him lie about his campaign finance accounts. What was that about not making campaign finance mistakes? Testing the waters? Three misdemeanors whaaaat? Yeah, totally innocent.
Q&A Part 4:

Saying the Federal Election Commission “made a mistake” when saying he was breaking the law but he couldn’t provide proof? What? Oh, right, turns out the FEC never said anything of the sort and the mess dragged on for ages, with the FEC finally sending a letter demanding he shut everything down.
Q&A Part 5:

My, my, my. What a difference a few years can make.

Antibiotic beads, heck! I heard he and Al Gore invented the internet together one night over brewski’s and chili dogs. Can’t remember of the manager of the establishment gave them the keys and told them to lock up when they were done or what…

Steve Henry broke my heart…. well… so to speak. I met him several months before he ran for Lt.Gov with Patton. Wayne Gunnell my Magistrate at the time here in Henry County brought him by my family business. He had his little oxford button down blue shirt on and the sleeves rolled up just so high to project the image of the working man’s canidate, sweat stains and all and let me and my family know that if there was anything he could do to help the small business and would appreciate our support …etc and so forth….my magistrate was star struck with him….as was i at the time. I thought he was a great guy….then.
As the years rolled on and he sidestepped most of Pattons scandel with that hag i thought for sure he would try to run for Gov. but his wifes career got kinds hot for 6 months with fox in the morning and he was never ran…. what did we get though that was any better? aka Ernie Fletcher( The Worst Gov of Ky EVER!!!)
I thru a pillow at the television screen tonight after WHAS-11 announced that he pled the alford plea…
Steve Henry you may never read any of this… you or your Prom Queen wife but you sir have no integrity…your a liar and fake and a manipulator. You use anything and anyone with your words to try to get what you want and now Mr you are gonna find out the hard way that Karma/Fate/or whatever is gonna make you reap a whirlwind. You better move to california cause your name is mud here in this state.
“What comes around goes around and comes all the way back around” I will enjoy watching you reap the benefits of your deception and lies.
But in all honesty … Patton,Fletcher….. what chance has Steve Bresher got to fix anything?
