I now regret my feeble attempt at humor regarding Schyler Olt. I have learned it was very much misinterpreted, and I am very sorry about that. I take it back. Mr. Olt is a very talented and muti- faceted individual who seems sincere in all his undertakings, as far as I have ever known. In no way did I, by my earlier spur of the moment comments, mean to disparage him in any way. He really is a good guy, and I guess I was just surprised to have known him in a more "artsy" way, only to find out he was in a position that could very well help provide some valuable insight to me on my current pet peeve, which is the 2005 HB 299 and how it will affect us. In that sense, he really could be a superman. It is difficult to find answers, but if he can help, I believe he will.

If an agency is subject to Kentucky Open Records, their salaries should be open.

OMG! I thought Schyler Olt was really an artist who just kind of did the attorney gig on the side! I am chagrined in probably the same way some might have been when meeting Clark Kent and later finding out in the funny papers he was really Superman. Except I found out on the internet. Good Lord! I have to go to bed now.

Shouldn't this staff be listed under the CJ's salary database? Can't find one of them.

What really confuses me is how they have a director with only a couple of employees under them. But then, many state agencies are heavy on bosses - one boss for two employees, for example. That is something I'd like to see examined across state government. If a boss doesn't have at least 5 employees reporting directly to them, it is time to reorganize.
