I was in Letcher County friday when the snow hit and it was beautiful, but we lost electricity friday about 830pm. People where told it could be past xmas before its back on.
Say a prayer it comes on quicker for them. Propane and kerosene sold out immediately and kerosene was being rationed in Pound Va.
Terrible thing for the holidays. 2009 has sucked for weather related things.

Hey Peaches… the whole monstrosity needs to be revoked. Higdon’s bill, as it stands now, leaves Dan Kelly and everyone else who pushed this shameful piece of legislation through in 2005 still feeding at the trough (including, presumably, Jimmy Higdon). Rescind it all, or it is simply political grandstanding.

Just another example of how arrogant Joe Meyer and Helen Mountjoy are—Beshear certainly must know how dangerous Meyer is to his chances for re-election ? Corruption should be Meyer’s middle name-Thanks Jake for exposing Mountjoy–but Meyer is twice as corrupt as Mountjoy–he is just plain evil—

I started talking about Joe Meyer in 2007/2008. In fact, his son once went batshit because I wouldn’t shill 24/7 for Steve Beshear and the Democrats by swallowing everything they drop hook, line and sinker.
