For the record: I think you should be allowed to pray to Jeebus or whatever at work, school, anywhere you want. But when it comes to my tax dollars, you are not welcome to promote your religious beliefs. Just as you’re not allowed to promote your lavish lifestyle (Sylvia Lovely) or your skanky girlfriends (Paul Patton).

Oh, I agree, but the question is, who approved it? I doubt any press release goes out without the knowledge of the Commissioner – but then, I’m told he’s absent quite a bit.

I’ll note, there are very few atheists in law enforcement – even if the God they worship goes by other names, such as Yahweh or Allah. God doesn’t necessarily equate to Christianity, after all.
