You know I can’t let December go by without whoring out the official White House Ornament of 2009:

FRONT – 2009 ORNAMENT

BACK – 2009 ORNAMENT

This year’s ornament celebrates the second administration of President Grover Cleveland (1893-1897) when the first electric lights appeared on the White House Christmas tree.
“People worldwide collect the White House ornament, give them as gifts to family and friends, and decorate their Christmas tree with them,” said Neil W. Horstman, president of the White House Historical Association. “The public support of the ornament series contributes significantly to the acquisition of historic furnishings and artwork for the White House collection and furthers our educational mission.”

Here in Kentucky if we are going to celebrate the second of anything, it should be the second amendment to the US Constitution guaranteeing us, as militia folks, to carry weapons.
We need to get even with the leftist liberal socialist fascist nazis who wanted to call the holy Christmas tree a holiday tree.
Bring your guns and your ammunition to the Capitol to adorn the state Christmas tree.
The Christmas tree in Frankfort should be heavily adorned with guns of all sorts, as well as the ammunition to fit them.
The blessed church in Louisville which honored the guns this summer could come to sing some Christmas carols in honor of the tree, although they might be forced to play Tchaikovsky’s Overture for 1812, and place tiny cannons on the branches between the baby Jesuses.

Yes, because I’m sure when Jesus said “Love your neighbor” and “Turn the other cheek” he meant “celebrate my birth with guns and cannons.”
