Ben Chandler voted against Wall Street Regulation. And now it’s time for Central Kentucky to throw him out of Washington. [Barefoot & Progressive]
Just another reminder that Ben Chandler voted against the American people and for mega billionaire bankers. [The Hill]

Kentucky is getting some sweet, sweet stim-uh-liss cash. How much is your county receiving? [Track It]
This afternoon Surgeon General Dr. Regina Benjamin and Kentucky Commissioner of Public Health Dr. William Hacker will unveil a new H1N1 pig flu vaccination PSA campaign. One of the ads features Gas Station Governor Steve Beshear and “Sid the Science Kid” scaring the crap out of everyone, amen. [Press Release]

Susan Westrom was named to the Governor’s Advisory Council on the 2010 World Equestrian Games on Friday. Wonder if she’ll spend 25 minutes at the first meeting talking about chickens like during her infamous gambling vote explanation? [Notice]
Dear AP Stylebook: Could you please spell “Web site” like a normal person? [Facebook]
Why did Steve Beshear name a nurse with no mining experience or knowledge to the mining board? Why did Adam Edelen once again make promises that he did not fulfill? We’re not fans of King Coal’s mountaintop removal practices, but, uh, what the crap, Frankfort? How does that appointment make sense? It’s like Beshear and Edelen lie to every single person they come in contact with and then retaliate against them when they aren’t kissing their rears enough. [Ralph Dunlop]
The excoriation of Jim Newberry and Teresa Isaac has begun. Newberry is a failure and Teresa Isaac was an absolute disaster who suffers delusions of grandeur (not my kind of delusions – but major major delusions of grandeur). Jim Gray is the only one in the bunch who can clean up Lexington’s various messes. [Tom Eblen]
OMG! Jim Noberry has finally called for a probe into jail personnel practices! WHAT! Must be because he wants to stick it to TI and seem like he cares all at the same time. [Ryan Alessi & Valarie Honeycutt Spears]

Even the folks in Glasgow seem to think the governor’s announcement that education funds will be cut is a scare tactic. [Glasgow Daily Times]
State officials knew that many of the children who died from abuse might be at risk. And Frankfort (Steve Beshear?) still thinks it’s a-okay to cut funding for social workers. Terribly sad and upsetting. But great journalism from Yetter. [Debby Yetter]
The University of Louisville College Republicans have invited Trey Grayson to debate Rand Paul. Will he do it? [Press Release]

“Kentucky is getting some sweet, sweet stim-uh-liss cash”
Wish you could actually learn anything from the Recovery.gov chart for Kentucky via the county data.
It shows Franklin County get $1,364,765,278 or $27,941 per citizen.
If an uninformed person reads it, they will think Frankfort is getting it all because its the Capital City or politics or conspiracy or whatever.
The site should explain the money will be used by State Government for projects all over the state.

“Ben Says Wall St., Not Main St.”
No surprise that Timid Ben would vote against Wall St. regulation. Like all Blue Dogs, he does no barkin’ when it comes to BIG BUSINESS. He and his cheesy ilk depend upon PAC money from the most wealthy industries in our society, most especially the health care corporate bandits. Shame on you, Ben, in your dastardly deeds against KY’s average citizens.
