This is one of the saddest stories ever written. [H-L]

Lexington company TSP Co., Inc. received ten citations for violations with an adjusted penalty of $420,000 by the Kentucky Labor Cabinet. TSP has a history of violations with the Labor Cabinet’s Division of Safety and Health Compliance re: scaffolding safety. Maybe the horse and gambling industries should actually try reaching out to people in support of expanded gambling? They could start with people like me – instead of taking support for granted. Then get in-person with every newspaper dude in the state. Hold community meetings in every region. Make this a real issue about real people instead of sending eight negative mail pieces in a row in a simple special election. [Bluegrass Politics]

Kim Geveden + Lt. Dan = whiny ass titty babies. And they’ve both forgotten that Lt. Dan went to school in CANADA. A foreign country. But they’re still hung up over Jack Conway going to Duke. Bayh and Chandler are poster boys for political timidity. I’m glad that Bayh is always just an also-ran in the VP sweepstakes every four years. As for Ben, I’m just glad that his grandpaw is not around to see his grandson’s gutlessness.

Actually, Novena, Happy probably would have disowned Ben for his vote on crap-and-trade.

Amen! Until there is actual public support they’re just banging their collective heads into a wall…

Andy, what you do when you don’t have public support, you try and buy off politicians.
Beshear and the Horsey set bought two republicans with high paying, retirement enhancing state jobs. These are probably costing the tax payers in excess of $300k per year when you include benefits.
But the citizens showed, right or wrong, they are tired of being manipulated by politicians. I think the voters have awoke and are craving a new type of politician.
One thats honest and will follow through on what they say. So its time to vote all incumbents out, regardless of party. If the newly elected officials don’t follow through, we’ll vote them out also.
Thanks to you one termer Beshear for at least helping the Kentucky economy by spending so much money even though you lost AGAIN
