How much closer would we be to finding a tangible solution to reducing CO2 emissions and finding cleaner fuel technologies if only a fraction of the billions of dollars currently being wasted by academia on trying to prove anthropogenic global warming, was focused on CO2 control technologies like this one?

I would argue that we as a society, would be far better off funding the development of a clean home electrical fuel cell, than giving millions of dollars to Mann, Jones, and others to study tree rings trying to prove our impact.

The advantage of technological research is that you quickly realize that you are heading in a wrong direction and can redirect the research, whereas these studies many time can’t be verified or as the recent scandal suggests, be easily manipulated to hide their failure.
