Another Blow to Daniel Mongiardo

November 30th, 2009 · 8 Comments

Larry Clark’s spokescritter in the office of the Speaker Pro-Tem has left her cushy state job. Allison Haley has moved on to serve as Jack Conway’s communications critter on the U.S. Senate campaign. Allison ‘s latest move should send a clear message to Lt. Dan that the senate race has just gotten a lot hotter.

That sound you hear? You-know-whats clenching up everywhere. Primarily that of Larry Clark, an ardent Mongiardo supporter.

Talk about a major coup.

Here comes the schadenfreude!

How in the world does a spokesperson leaving Larry Clarke’s office going to hurt Mongiardo? Is she going to talk about conversations she was privy to between Clarke and Mongiardo?

If so, that is highly unethical.

Its kind of like Beshear buying off state Senators to defeat David Williams, the only way he can do it is with taxpayer money. Conway is raiding supposed Mongiardo supporters in a desperate act because he is behind 11 points in the last “real poll” released and the pay must be pretty damn good.

    It’s Clark. No e.

    Unethical? Hardly.

It’s a major blow to Lt. Dan because Larry has been his most ardent supporter – telling everyone who would listen that his entire staff was working to support Lt. Dan.

Read before commenting, people. And stop making shit up.

I did dude, What did I mis-read. I just offered an opinion.

I did learn something, Mongiardo does have one supporter who is with the political elite. I think that hurts him.

I like the appeal of Mongiardo not being “the chosen one”. I’m ready to vote against all the chosen ones and all incumbents. These people have been running Kentucky in the ground for 50 years aqnd its time for non-establishment candidates to win political races. The sheep have fallen off the cliff and new rams are coming up from behind.

Conway is a hypocrite in supporting coal. Everyone knows if Conway wins and Cap and trade comes to a vote, he will vote for it.

Mongiardo has been a coal supporter all along. He likes having affordable electricity in this state.

Now if our failure Governor and his failure economic team could land a few jobs for this state, it would be wonderful.

I wish you would do a story on how many state contracts are awarded to out of state vendors, when we have just as good of ones in Kentucky.

Daniel isn’t the chosen boy of the elite? What about King Coal? That’s as elite as one can get.

You wanna talk about hypocrisy? I can go on for days about that. And the myriad law-breaking situations involving Daniel. Taking his housing allowance and illegally spending it outside Franklin County. Not reporting rental income. Lying about the amount of reimbursement from Medicaid. Lying about what he said on tape about the U.S. Senate and his Governor.

Who have the Blacktoppers chosen? I really don’t know and they have ran Kentucky as long as I can remember, even when Patton was Governor.

Those seem minor transgressions compared to what some of the Repub US. Senators have done… Larry Craig for one. Dem congressman William Jefferson from Louisiana, $90,00 in a freezer with a Kentucky connection to that one. Hal Rogers taking care of his son with Homeland Security money. All of them are snakes!

    They’ve chosen Lt. Dan.

Minor transgressions involving literally millions of dollars? Hardly. Dollars add up quickly.

Fortunately for Kentucky, Tap Tap Craig and Slick Jefferson have nothing to do with us. Hal Rogers has always been high on the hog’s teat.

    $700,000+ in hidden rental income

Tens of thousands of dollars per year in a housing allowance

$2 million+ in hidden Medicaid income

Possible rental income at his home in Perry County

    Hardly small potaters.

    Here are some more. http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1109/30013.html

Check out how much Pelosi spent on Flowers and all of them spent on bottled water.

You’d think DC had the best water around.
