funny thing is the Director of Gov’t Affairs for Peabody was just spouting off at Thursday night’s UK coal forum about how Barack Obama is coal’s best friend. Wires crossed much?

That guy at the Peabody might be onto something-I’ve heard that there have been dramatically more strip-mining permits issued since Obama has been in office…is that true?
