Check out this invitation sent out to tons of people through Kentucky. It’s for Sylvia Lovely’s “retirement celebration.” Because, uh, some people (like hypocrite/liar Kelly Flood) think that hot mess is worth celebrating:

How much is the Kentucky League of Cities party in honor of Britney Spears Sylvia Lovely costing Kentucky? Did the Board approve this “party”? How is this appropriate?
KLC funds were clearly used for this invite. So here’s hoping Crit Luallen investigates this during her audit. And here’s hoping that Bob Arnold shows up with all kinds of hookers and booze. Can’t wait to see the Facebook photos of Sylvia doing keg stands before shaving her head and donning a hot pink wig.
The Herald-Leader better be scouting out the entrance to see who has the nerve to show up.
Come on, Kentucky! This is why we cannot have nice things!

and she’s still on the payroll…and travelling in and out of state…and she’s going to stay on the payroll is one rumor…through the New Cities Foundation which isn’t exactly the KLC but their “attached” foundation with “private” donors…

I’d say it IS getting old for Sylvia’s pals in Lexington. But the fact remains that hundreds of thousands of dollars have been wasted and an official audit is ongoing.
