Ernie Fletcher’s counsel may be running against Ben Chandler. But. Some people apparently need to be reminded that Ben Chandler is one of the people allowing Charlie Rangel’s reign of corruption to continue. One of the people allowing the corruption of Frankfort to continue. And one of the people who flat-out ignores his critics, rather than attempt to work with them. Andy Barr may have an ethically questionable background and his campaign may be laughable, but Ben Chandler is no more honorable and there’s no way to spin that. Don’t blame the universities. When your faced with dwindling $ of state support you’ve go to get the money from somewhere. I realized that higher ed is increasing exponentially above the cost of living but that is because KY is reducing its share and cost continue to rise. Many faculty and staff have not had a raise in 2 to 4 years.
