Good god Gub, grow a pair! You don’t believe that crap any more than I do. I am really growing tired of the Jeebsing of America and someone else’s belief in fairy tales affecting my life. Sorry but there is nothing and no one “up there” playing puppet master over lives on earth. There is no heaven or hell. I didn’t vote for Jesus and he isn’t “god.” He can’t give me a job or feed me or house me or clothe me. Sorry to break the news, but you and I make all of our own decisions. He doesn’t send you messages or speak to you individually. It is all in your mind. Please try to keep it there.

Whew! Dang! Got all worked up over the xmas tree broohaahaa. Thanks for reading. It helps to know you care. :)

The Christmas tree has nothing to do with the religious aspect of the holiday. Or do I have to state the obvious? A Christmas tree has nothing to do with the “Jeebsing of America,” whatever the hell that means.

Conservative: Most of those foaming at the mouth (Check the Facebook group) have no idea that’s the case.

BS, Conservative. It has everything to do with religion. Otherwise, why would anyone care what a stupid tree is called? It’s never enough for Christians. It’s not enough that they celebrate Christmas as the birth of God on earth, they want everyone to celebrate it as such - despite the fact that it’s based on a pagan holiday! Christians never let truth get in the way of argument.
FYI - “Jeebs” and “Jeebus” are commonly used, derisive forms of “Jesus” most commonly found in online references. I used the term “Jeebsing of America” in derision, to refer to the insidious growth of Christian belief within the U.S. government, with decision-makers being chosen from a group of people who believe in what I consider a fairy tale, and who therefore are afraid to think for themselves but who sure want to think for me and decide for me. I am not a Christian, so I resent being constricted by that belief system. I also think people who believe the earth is 5,000 years old are deliberately stupid, so I make fun of them.
