Speaking of tax reform:

Thanks to Governor Fletcher for taking most of the working poor off of Kentucky’s tax rolls. (Was this his only notable achievement?) Kentucky used to be #1 in the nation at taxing people at the poverty line. Now, they’re still one of 17 states or so that nail the working poor, but at least it’s only a little bit now.

What is Channel 11 polling? I had a call on my caller ID yesterday from “WHAS 11 Poll” with an out-of-state area code. I wasn’t home and they didn’t leave a message, nor did they call back when I was home.
