Gah. Even more Lt. Dan crap today. MAKE IT STOP!
The hot gossip in Frankfort today is that Daniel Mongiardo’s U.S. Senate campaign is trying to hang the hilarious Mongiardo audio tapes on Jack Conway. Lt. Dan is telling everyone who will listen that Jack is responsible – despite it clearly being a Mongiardo insider.
But something suspicious is ocurring. Check this latest update from the Conway Camp’s Facebook/Twitter:
We want to alert our supporters that someone has been trying to hack into our social-networking pages and computer systems. Their intentions are unclear, but we did want to alert all of our friends in case they receive messages that did not originate from our campaign. Please report any suspicious activity.
I spoke with Mark Riddle, of the Conway camp, who shared intern documentation with me that seems to indicate individuals are attempting to hijack campaign computer systems and social networking profiles. Coincidental that Lt. Dan and his crew would be trying to hang the audio on Conway at the same time? Maybe, but definitely unlikely. Because, come on, this is Kentucky politics.
That aside, I noticed something interesting in the documentation that ties the “KY Revolution” folks to the “SenRace2010” YouTube profile via Twitter:

May be two pieces of information we want to hang onto til later.
Oh, and Lt. Dan? Get over it. You said it. Deal with it.

So the Cyber Crime Crusader got hacked? Hope he’s better at catching pervs than he is at protecting his Facebook page, or your kids are all in trouble…

Doesn’t look like anything was compromised, so, your point is rather silly.
