What do you think? Is Kentucky’s recently updated (today, after criticism on last week’s Comment on Kentucky transparency website – Open Door – really a success?

I don’t think so. As I said on the Twitter machine earlier: it’s a massive, embarrassing failure on behalf of the entire Besehar Administration:

While the Secretary of Finance and Administration was clearly making a funny, I couldn’t resist being a little publicly bitter. Because absolutely nothing of importance is available on the site. It’s a total tease and a waste of a great idea.

It’s a step in the right direction, sure. But we won’t be happy until there’s real, tangible transparency.
