What a week! After our record breaking first quarter fundraising effort, our momentum is taking off as we are the Democratic candidate perfectly positioned to take back Wendell Ford’s Senate seat. With our endorsements from well respected Kentucky Democrats such as, Crit Luallen, Ben Chandler, John Yarmuth and Greg Stumbo, as well as the full support of the national Democratic Party and major labor and teacher unions, our campaign is ready to strike while the iron is hot.

A recent independent poll clearly shows our campaign has the momentum, and is the most likely candidate to beat any Republican on Election Day. Last week, news sources revealed that my opponent was almost ready to quit his campaign, stating, “I don’t need this job. I don’t need the US Senate.”
