Surely to goodness constitutional officers aren’t required to fill out timesheets like the rest of the peons in state government. Are they?

That being said, if Hollenbach isn’t doing any work, it’s all the more reason to abolish the constitutional office of state treasurer and give those duties to the appointed secretary of Finance and Revenue, or whatever the cabinet is named this week.

Then abolish secretary of state. And the elected commissioner of agriculture. And make auditor and attorney general appointees requiring supermajority legislative approval by one or both houses.
