Happy NuLu Fest Weekend & Other Fancy Stuff

September 25th, 2009 · 1 Comment

The NuLu Fest is the big event on our weekend calendar. It starts at 5 Saturday, featuring free music until at least 11 down on East Market Street in Louisville. The bands aren’t shabby — Ben Sollee, Generic Alternatives, Thomas A. Minor & the Picket Line, Lucky Pineapple and The Instruction. Good names. You can also partake in BBC beer, wine from Felice Vineyards and plenty of food from local restaurants. It’s in the 700 block of East Market, which will be closed to traffic.

Just wait and see.  And what was that about me making this all up, Kimb…, er, crooks?  Yeah, that’s what I thought. [Joe Gerth]

CentrePointe what? [Barefoot & Progressive]

Did you take part in this year’s Idea Festival? There’s plenty to think about. [John LaFollette]

Wow, a NYTimes/CBS poll huh? Getting those two together pretty much guarantees a heavily skewed, unbelieveable and worthless poll.
