State Rep Went to Canada Without Red Shoes

July 27th, 2009 · 2 Comments

State Representative Joni Jenkins recently attended the Rising State Leaders conference in Canada (not on the taxpayer dime) where she learned about stuff and we spotted her on the foreigner internets, of Canada, doing some foreigner things.

Here she is standing with some foreigners in front of some foreigner thing, in Canada, where the foreigns live:

And here she is on a tour of some foreigner trap, in Canada, where the foreigns try to trick Godly Americans into converting to Islam:

Oh, and here she is staring at some foreigner guy’s ugly tie and/or name badge while trying to figure out his foreigner name:

Nary a red shoe in sight. She should be ashamed!

Rep. Jenkins is currently working on a report of her busy, multi-region tour of the foreigner lands to our north, with the foreigners. Hopefully the legislature will be able to use Jenkins’ tour and connections to develop strong Kentucky business ties.

UPDATE UPDATE IMPORTANT UPDATE & SUCH:

Ugh, apparently the foreigns don’t take too kindly to the truth, on the internets.

The foreign thing is the Peace Arch at the United States-Canadian border.

The foreigner with the ugly tie is the Speaker of the House of Manitoba, George Hicks. (Rep. Jenkins says he was telling an interesting story, but we choose to believe the look on her face was due to the ugly tie.)

And the photo of Joni where the foreigns are trying to make her a Muslin? That’s apparently at some place called the Library of Parliament.

Joni Jenkins is the cutest thing in shoe leather to hit this state in decades.

She is also one of the smartest and best public policy makers we have had in years.

Must be why Pro Tempore hates her so.

    Joni!

One of the best. If we didn’t need her so badly in Frankfort, I’d say she should run for mayor here.
