Don’t forget to read about our most recent conversation with Jack Conway. Find out where he stands on greased pig contests and many other pressing issues. [Page One]

Ooooh, this is juicy. Central Bank refuses to refund KACo’s $890 in STRIP CLUB charges. And you know banks refund charges like woah when warranted. Why won’t KACo just admit its folks paid to go to strip clubs? Why should the organization be allowed to continue to waste our tax dollars to investigate why the bank won’t refund the charges? Too little, too late. [Ryan Alessi]

One of the many reasons we won’t be wasting our time with General Motors. Ever. Not the least of which has to do with the, you know, blah products. [Money Central]

Jerry Abramson thinks Louisville was poorer, blacker and older before the city and county merged. It’s almost like King Jerry wants to put his foot in his mouth 24/7 these days. For that, we thank him. We don’t even have to suggest he could be found in bed wit…. heh. [Stephen George]

How does Louisville compare to other cities when it comes to job postings per capita? [Clicky Clicky]

Republican state senators Dan Kelly and Charlie Borders are set to leave their offices. Will this open things up for Democratic control? Let’s not hold our breath just yet, ladies. [Kentucky Roll Call & Bluegrass Politics]

Wait – now Karen Sypher has made a claim with the Louisville Metro Police Department’s sex offense unit about Rick Pitino. Claims that the FBI already says are suspect. Last week Sypher’s attorney withdrew from her case. And now the shiz is hitting the fan. We couldn’t make this up if we tried! What a glorious media circus. [C-J]

Republican Patrick Duerr, a financial advisor and president of RixSix, LLC (which isn’t registered with the Secretary of State and he’s not listed as an officer of any business), is running for the State House in the 41st District against Tom Riner. Guess Duerr doesn’t realize he has no chance against Riner because he has 800 children who will haul the entire gerrymandered district out to vote. That and his wife is allegedly skilled at vote buying and rigging party elections. [Patrick Duerr]

4% more to be cut from state agency budgets? That’s what the state budget director said in a letter sent last week. [Tony McVeigh]

Take notice, Frankfort. This is what we should be doing all over the Commonwealth. That is, if you weren’t busy screwing the state. The Green Building should serve as a model for innovative and sustainable development across Kentucky. [Paving the Road to NuLu]

I refuse to call that area NuLu, however I think it’s slogan should be: “NuLu: Acceptably Diverse.” Or maybe “Keep NuLu Gentrified?”
