What the heck is with people absolutely freaking out because I refuse to take seriously any candidate who includes Jennifer Moore as a part of their campaign as a fundraising host?
Jennifer may be a nice person these days. Various candidates may be nice people worthy of elective office. But please go about your business and stop worrying about what I think. I’ve gotten all kinds of calls and emails since word got out that I won’t waste my time.
I merely refuse to have ties to Ms. Moore after what I believe to be the most embarrassing and disastrous period at the Kentucky Democratic Party in decades.
I’m one person. This issue doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things. Chill out. It’s not the end of the world. I don’t win or lose elections for you.
If you could see my missed calls list and my text message inbox, you’d think the end of days has arrived. Goodness gracious.
P.S. Why the heck have a host list of 40 or 50 people? It’s time we focus on issues and not who supports a particular candidate.

If people are really that worked up about fundraisers and candidates that Jennifer “the ex-disgraced chair of the KDP” Moore is involved with you are in for a long summer.
I’ve seen her name on two invites in the last few weeks and from what I hear Jenny is offering to “help” just about every dem in the state. I would guess she looks at having her name on invitations as free campaigning for her 2011 race.
I spent the 4th with someone who was at one recently that she “hosted” and didn’t even bother to show up for. Although, I am told that at least one state employee drove their state car to the fundraiser. Tsk, tsk tsk

She told people at the KDP last year that if Jack Conway wins the U.S. Senate seat the Gov would make her AG. Otherwise, it is Jennifer “the soon to be disgraced yet again” Moore for Secretary of State in 2011!
