Mongiardo Doesn’t Support “Socialized Medicine”

July 7th, 2009 · 5 Comments

Daniel Mongiardo says he supports universal health care but not socialized medicine. And he rattles on with Republican talking points about cap and trade.

“The Cap and Trade is basically putting a tax on carbon, on CO2, which means anything that produces CO2, coal being number one, is going to be impacted negatively,” says Mongiardo.

Even though Mongiardo endorsed president Obama in the presidential election, he says the Cap and Trade bill is one area they do not agree on. “The tax that’s going to be levied on Kentucky families, Kentucky businesses, and our economy would be devastating. There’s no way that anyone in this whole state could possibly be “for” this Cap and Trade.”

But Mongiardo says he does agree with the President’s views on health care. “I am for universal health care where everyone has some form of insurance of some form of coverage. I am certainly not for socialized medicine.

What does he think government-run health care is? Socialized medicine, single-payer, universal. It’s all the same thing run by the same government for the same people. Does Lt. Dan think Kentuckians are stupid?

What is embarrassing are these opinions clothed as reporting, not to mention the horrible grammar. Do you really expect anyone to take this blog seriously? Mongiardo is against cap and trade and for healthcare reform. What is so embarrassing about that?

Aww, thanks for being a whiny ass titty baby here and on any site that ever mentions anything about the coal industry, Daniel Mongiardo, teabagging, health care, et al. (Google is your friend)

My opinions are not clothed as reporting. Never have been, never will be. You’d be half stupid not realize such… as this site contains nearly 4,000 separate stories that are filled with opinion and speculation.

Do people take me seriously? You bet your booties. Otherwise you wouldn’t be complaining.

You should actually bother reading before commenting.

Nice, real professional. I guess this is the Perez Hilton of KY politics?

I read the article. If you were in touch with Kentucky you’d know that Mongiardo’s views are in line with most peoples. They realize healthcare needs work but do not want a Canada style socialized, one payer, system.

Coal is what powers this political opinion blog btw.

Nope, coal doesn’t power my data center.

Nor does it power my home, btw.

    Thanks for invading, Paultards!

“Mongiardo’s views are in line with most peoples”….ORLY?
Then why does the facebook group called “Kentuckians against homophobia, mountaintop removal, and Dan Mongiardo” have 604 members when the group “Dan Mongiardo for Senate” only has 379 members?
