Remember last year when Anne Northup and other Ensure-loving Louisville Republicans had a fancy picnic or whatever?
No?
Well, it’s that time again!
Literally tens of people will show up to drink Ensure and eat delicious ambrosia salad and cream of wheat this Saturday at 2:00 at Christian Academy of Louisville.
This year Trey Grayson, Cathy Bailey and Rand Paul will all be on-hand. It’s sure to be a flustercuck of epic proportions. You can ask Rand why he’s pretending to be in exploratory mode (ask Trey the same thing, duh) and you can tell Cathy Bailey she’d be insane to run for the U.S. Senate. Oh, and you can play cornhole while talking about your teabagging parties.
Somebody better furnish photographs of the shenanigans.

Anybody want to clear up how this can be hosted at CAL and the school keep their tax-exempt status?

Couple possibilities:
They’re paying to rent the space
CAL could offer the same space to Democrats for the same purpose

My mother drank nothing but Ensure for about two years because of stomach problems, and she is as liberal as they come — she’s the head of her city’s National Organization for Women (even her answering machine mentions the fact that her house is the headquarters for NOW). Ensure is definitely NOT a Republican only drink — you owe an apology to all Democratic Ensure drinkers.
By the way, no one is going to check your party status at the door, so you can come too if you want to (bring a side dish). Perhaps you’ll even gain a desire to change parties like Trey Grayson. I’ll save a bottle for you. What flavor of Ensure do you like best? :-)

HA! Good point.
I just meant that Ensure (like the comic kinda referenced) was for old people.
But… Ensure and various other brands of… um… nourishment drinks… (so gross – I hate them all – totally burned out) helped get me through tough health times not too long ago.
I prefer strawberry. Though, if they made an almond flavor, that might be better. Maybe.
(Related note: I told Brad Cummings that I would go if it weren’t going to be hot and humid. I thought it was a pretty good excuse at the time. It’ll work out in Repub favor if I’m not there – easier to inflate attendance numbers like Kelly Flood did at Keeneland.)
