Jerry Abramson, naturally, avoided reacting too extremely to Brad Cummings’ scathing indictment yesterday. He’s particularly adept at obfuscation and his reaction yesterday was testament to that fact. [Fat Lip]

Rand Paul says he’s raised $100,000 from 1,200 people. [H-L]

Is the Courier-Journal really this worthless? Read this story from Dan Klepal about Brad Cummings’ press conference. Then read Brad’s transcript or watch the videos we published of his presser. Then tell us, oh… you know… what Dan left out. Here’s a hint: EVERYTHING.  He didn’t mention anything covered during the press conference. We’re literally blown away. Blown. A. Way. Also love that the mayor and his spokesgays totally, 100% avoid addressing each and every fact-based concern Brad raised. [C-J]

Maybe WFIE should learn to do a little bit of reporting? The station reported that Trey Grayson is running for the U.S. Senate against Jim Bunning.  Guess they haven’t bothered to pay attention. [WFIE]

Allowing corporate campaign contributions? Not in our America. Mitch McConnell would love it, for sure, as it would further corrupt this country’s already broken political system. [The Hill]

Hahaha. This guy thinks he can beat Ben Chandler. We hear WLEX reporter Lee Cruse is also considering the race. What planet are these people from? [Clicky Clicky]

Doug Hawkins just met his match. David Yates is in the game to unseat the Mexican-fearing Councilcritter.. [The 'Ville Voice]

The state Economic Development Cabinet says that Manchester is under consideration for a large manufacturing plant that would turn household trash into building material. But the chairman of the authority that owns the property says he hasn’t heard of the proposal? Yeah, call us skeptical of any jobs created by this administration. [H-L]
