40 Years Fighting, 10 Years Semi-Equal Treatment

Yesterday marked the 40th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots in New York and served as a celebratory moment marking the 10th year of Louisville’s Fairness Ordinance.

Last evening the Kentucky Fairness Alliance and other like-minded groups who oppose discrimination held a candlelight vigil in downtown Louisville. Here are some images from the evening, courtesy J. Weber:

Today President Barack Obama is set to meet with hundreds of gay rights leaders. Will he backtrack? Will he do anything he promised on the campaign trail? Guess we’ll see.
