Isn’t the Kentucky Turnpike Authority still a legal entity? I know all the tolls were removed from the last of our parkways a few years ago, I think the Audubon and Green River parkways were the last two to become free roads, but that Turnpike Authority should still be in existence. Why can’t it be the agency that administers tolls for the East End Bridge? Why do we have to have all this special enabling legislation? Build toll booths on dry land and call the section between I-71 and the bridge River Fields Parkway, and use that toll money to pay off bonds for the new bridge.

I agree with Stan myself Jake. WHat is it about these morons that they think we are so gullible as to continue falling for their idiocy.
Each and everytime something is in trouble they go straight to the old mantar “but we need to do this for the kids.”
It is getting pathetic that they cannot live within our means and continue going down this road.
Vote the idiots out. Start with Stumbo. Surely we have some people somewhere with integrity to run for State office.

Good luck getting Stumbo voted out, or any of the rest of them. The only way these guys stay in office is the mass apathy of the voting public and I see no end in sight.

Wouldn’t matter if Scumbo … I mean Stumbo … no I mean Scumbo after all … got beat. He’d just force the guy who beat him to resign and would finagle an appointment until the special election.
