I love it when these people never buy anything awesome... like a 1994 Jeep Cherokee Sport that's about to fall apart.

Goodness.

ha ha ha..."the consulting firm that Nighbert worked for"...the consultants themselves said Nighbert did absolutely NOTHING to get paid yet he was paid tons of money and even bought a Toyota Avalon...hilarious! he did as much for that firm as he did for state government...unless you count political posturing and self agrandizing as work!

Re: the session. Beshear is just begging for a lawsuit, a very expensive lawsuit, against the state should gambling pass without an amendment. He'd be much better off using the time between now and next January making his case and garnering votes for an amendment.

Re.: the Nighbert indictment. The feds have leaked so much on this, but they'll have a very hard time making the case that Lawson bribed Nighbert. There's been absolutely nothing made public that links Lawson to the consulting firm that Nighbert worked for. That's pure speculation. They have the fish in Rummage's freezer but not one shred of proof that Nighbert was on the take.

Given that a special session lessens the opportunities for legislator votes to be bought, errrr, persuaded, I'd say this slots horse is fading badly. Plan B? Never mind, no need for that.
