Much has been “exclusively” said about Jim Bunning’s first quarter campaign finance report. Primarily, that 10% or $28,000 of his funds raised cannot be spent until the general election.
But the real story here is that of Daniel Mongiardo’s $429,000 raised and $388,000 on-hand. Of the remaining cash on-hand, more than $87,000 can only be used in the general election. Meaning about 20% of Mongiardo’s funds– twice the percentage of Jim Bunning’s– is untouchable in the primary election.
This means Jim Bunning has about $325,000 in on-hand cash that he can use during the primary election. Daniel Mongiardo only has about $300,000 on-hand for the primary.
What was that again about Daniel Mongiardo absolutely whipping poor old Jim Bunning in the campaign finance department? Read more about Mongiardo’s finance report by clicking here.
Not so fast, ladies. The queers know how to count.
