Just last week we told you Kelly Flood (who is still trying to ride Kathy Stein’s coattails, ref: Kentucky Tonight on Monday) held an illegal alcohol-fueled soiree in Frankfort– during the legislative session. A total waste of our tax dollars.
Now we’ve got a list of some folks who took part in the shindig:
- Larry Clark, 36th District, Jefferson County
- Bob Damron, 39th District, Fayette & Jessamine Counties
- John Will Stacy, 71st District, Menifee, Morgan, Rowan & Wolfe Counties
- Rocky Adkins, 99th District, Boyd, Eilliott, Lawrence & Rowan Counties
- Greg Stumbo, 95th District, Floyd County
- Jeff Greer, 27th District, Bullitt, Hardin & Meade Counties
- Martha Jane King, 16th District, Logan & Todd Counties
- Rick Rand, 47th District, Carroll, Henry, Oldham & Trimble Counties
- Tonya Pullin, 98th District, Boyd & Greenup Counties
- Rick Nelson, 87th District, Bell & Harlan Counties
- Leslie Combs, 94th District, Harlan, Letcher & Pike Counties
- Derrick Graham, 57th District, Franklin County
The Kentucky State Police can now ask these legislators if alcohol was, indeed, inside Larry Clark’s capitol offices.
Feel free to contact the KSP if you’re inclined to do so. Our elected officials shouldn’t get to run amok throwing illegal alcohol parties on our dime. Enough is enough.
More names and details to follow.

What tax dollars?

The tax dollars used to pay their salaries– they held this party DURING session, DURING committee meetings they were supposed to be attending.
The tax dollars used to pay for the electricity, gas and other utilities to run the annex offices.
The tax dollars used to secure the premises.
Should I go on?

Even despite the tax dollars being spent as above; the other legislators including Representative Westrom should be outraged that alcohol was in the building.
Oh but I forget, since such Legislators put a criminally minded person like Greg Stumbo as a leader- they have literally thrown ethics and laws out the door.
I guess Ms. Westrom thinks its perfectly okay that Stumbo sued the mother of his love child claiming that her request for child support was extortion. With women like this representing Kentucky women; no wonder we have men like Stumbo who think we should all be on our knees giving head to get ahead.

Jake, thanks for printing stories like this one. Stories that will, hopefully, hold our public officials accountable. Please do update with more names, as I’m sure this isn’t the complete list.

It looks like the Kentucky Legislature is the guy who picks your pocket, and then goes out and buys alcohol with your dime. That’s criminal. Literally.
