House Just Voted – Sine Die

March 26th, 2009 · 4 Comments

The State House just voted to adjourn sine die.

The State Senate is remaining open to consider confirmations.

UPDATE: We hear from Republicans that Larry Clark stood up during the leadership meeting with the Governor (after he said over and over how badly we needed the two bills he was pushing) and said:

“What about this do you not understand? We’re adjourning!”

Absolutely hilarious. After the Governor backed Stumbo and Clark and campaigned against Richards and Jenkins, this is how Clark reacts. We love it.

“after he said over and over how badly we needed the two bills he was pushing”

Don’t you think we’d like to know specifically WHICH two bills he was desperately pushing in the final hours? Links please!

How bout the ones I’ve been yammering on about for the past week? Or the two Greg Stumbo has been standing up against for a week?

    HB229 and the bridges bill.
