Mongiardo's an option, especially since he's announced, but what would that do to the Governor's re-election campaign finances? Lunsford would be a good placeholder. I don't believe he has any intentions of running again, so Democrats could decide who the nominee would be in 2010. And it would make at least 47 percent of the state happy.
