Trey Grayson and Jack Conway share the same political base and the same donor base. Because they’re realists and are more non-partisan than partisan– which is were the majority of Americans are.

This is one where the Dems and I agree, if Trey (or anyone else) primaries against Bunning, they will lose. Most likely they will lose against Bunning, because average Republicans in this closed-primary stand behind our man. But, peradventure Trey did defeat the Senator, a divided GOP would not be enough to carry him once the Democrats who encouraged him to run went back to their “man”.

You should call Trey and ask him about Scott. He’s been calling big wig Republicans for the past week asking for their support for him to primary Jim Bunning and boasting about taking all his political advice from Scott. Maybe you don’t know Trey as well as you think that you do.

I’d also add that Grayson needs to dump Scott Jennings as his advisor. Their association is embarassing for Grayson.
