Jack Conway’s office just announced that Owen County Judge Executive Billy O’Banion entered guilty pleas on four counts of official misconduct and resigned from office. O’Banion, Owen County Treasurer Gayla Lewis (who also resigned) and Deputy Judge Executive Renaee Gaines were indicted in September on multiple charges of official misconduct after State Auditor Crit Luallen’s office referred findings to the OAG.
