You’ve gotta check this out if you live in Louisville or have ever gotten gas in the city.
It’s pretty expensive to fix a car once it’s had water in the gas tank. Just ask Michael Wickliffe, owner of Wick’s Pizza, who filled up at a gas station at Grinstead Drive and Lexington Road recently.
Repairs cost $1,100 for Wickliffe, and another guy that WAVE’s Charla Young found spent more than $2,000. So Young and her crew ambushed the station owner, Jag Gill. That brings us to some pretty amazing and hilarious TV footage.
Young did her homework on the gas, finding that Gill’s station had been selling a combination of gas and water. She found a customer who told her that Gill had denied he’s sold any bad gas. She interrupted Gill’s lunch, but he didn’t seem to mind. Watch the clip as he continues eating during Young’s questioning, then notices the camera, and asks “Are you taking the movie?”
This is jacked up.

I live right by that station! Better check my bank statements to see if I’ve filled up there recently. That’s messed up! He even admitted to having mixed gas in the past. Is this something that could be caused by a leak in the main tank, or was it done knowingly? And if so, can this guy be shut down, or get a MASSIVE fine? I’m amazed at how much shady shit goes down in this city!
