We hear through the gayvine that Amy Mischler has faxed every member of the State House urging them not to support Greg Stumbo. She’s apparently including copies of her lawsuit. Should be an interesting couple days in Frankfort. [Emailed Tip]
Oh, wait! Here’s the first of the 49 pages she faxed to legislators:
Dear House of Representatives Members,
My name is Amy Mischler. If you only listen and read from individuals who have money and political influence; then throw this away. I have neither. But if you value the integrity of this Commonwealth you will take the time to read this.
I am strongly encouraging you not to vote for Greg Stumbo tomorrow. Attached to this fax you will read an ongoing lawsuit against Mr. Stumbo by me. As attorney general Greg Stumbo abused his political office to benefit his campaign contributors and political allies. Further, he even covered up criminal acts by these same people.
Yes, I am the same individual who filed for Mr. Stumbo’s and Howard Keith Hall’s impeachment with the House. I outlined the criminal acts by Mr. Hall which Mr. Stumbo used the OAG’s office to cover up. Unfortunately, former Representative Kathy Stein decided to play old boy politics and refused to give copies of the impeachment petition to her committee. You can even go into the legislative history and find that there is no legislative record that I even filed the petition with the House of Representatives.
Read the rest after the jump…
When I filed the impeachment there were many ugly and untrue rumors circulated about me. For example that I am supposedly crazy, supposedly a child abuser, or that I am some type of republican ruse. I am neither of these.
I am lifelong democrat whose party leader Greg Stumbo, threw under the bus to benefit himself politically.
I was illegally placed on the child abuser database by the Cabinet for Health and Families Pike County Social Worker Shereena Hamilton. Hamilton not only violated many federal and state statutes, but she also failed to give me any notice and then destroyed the hard copy records. I only found out that I was recognized as a child abuser by Kentucky after an anonymous person put it on the internet. Too, there are those of you who heard the rumors that I was a child abuser when I myself had no knowledge of it.
Only after I demanded notice; I received a findings letter and then went on to win my CAPTA hearing removing me from the child abuser list. The social worker and her supervisors who did this political favor for Mr. Stumbo and Mr. Howard Keith Hall were never disciplined for intentionally violating my civil rights, engaging in criminal acts, or violation of policy.
Moreover, the Prosecutors Advisory Council never disciplined Mr. Howard Keith Hall for willfully refusing to prosecute child support against my ex husband for nine months. Nor did PAC discipline Mr. Howard Keith Hall for initiating a malicious criminal prosecution against me only days after I filed a complaint with the OAG against Mr. Hall. For the details you can read the attached amended complaint.
As for my mental state; If a person is considered to be crazy because they believe that the KY Constitution, and the legislative system itself can overcome the old boy network and czar Stumbo. Then upon that standard I am certifiable. However, I will show any legislator who wishes to meet with me in person copies of my psychological report which shows that I am normal, albeit stressed over the wrongs that have been perpetrated upon me.
Yes, it is true that I am under a supervised visitation order with my children. However, that supervised visitation order started with Judge Julie Paxton and has been continued by each judge thereafter with no factual finding upon the record to justify. Despite the fact I have asked repeatedly for the judges to comply with the law to give me a reason.
Judge Paxton of course, conducted sham legal proceedings in 2002 in my case. She is also married to Martin Osborne who is Mr. Stumbo’s former law partner, and campaign contributor. Further, Mr. Stumbo appointed Judge Paxton to his child support enforcement council. Which is truly ironic in my individual case because Judge Paxton fully knew about Mr. Stumbo’s other campaign contributor Mr. Howard Keith Hall refusing to prosecute child support in my case for nine months.
That is why Judge Paxton found me guilty of domestic violence for marching in public with a sign notifying the public of Mr. Hall’s malfeasance. That DVO was later vacated, because as we all know, that is not domestic violence. However, it’s at that DVO hearing that Judge Paxton illegally changed custody. And then later after I filed a grievance against Mr. Hall; Judge Paxton then ordered me on supervised visitation which has been continued thereon since June 2006. Again, there is no factual finding to justify the visitation order or any continuation.
Representative Keith Hall is a different individual than Mr. Howard Keith Hall. However, both Representative Hall and Representative Ray Jones know how Pike County Attorney Howard Keith Hall has been trading child support prosecution for political favor for years. They also both know of many tragic deaths in Pike County that were also a result of Mr. Howard Keith Hall abusing his criminal prosecutor duties and refusing to prosecute politically connected individuals.
I welcome the opportunity to testify before a House Committee hearing on these matters. It is a difficult time for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Putting Mr. Greg Stumbo in a position of power so he can once again abuse his authority is the absolutely last thing this state needs.
I am not condoning what former Governor Ernie Fletcher did. However, Mr. Stumbo wasted over a million dollars of taxpayer money in the merit investigation and prosecution. The only two results were a wounded republican governor and a dinky little plea agreement that didn’t add up to a hill of beans. We the taxpayers did not see one benefit from that wasted money. But Mr. Stumbo did. It helped set the stage for his ill fated run for Lt. Governor. How much would the members of the House like to see that million dollars returned to the budget for this session?
It is indeed a shame to see the folks of Floyd County put Mr. Stumbo back in the House of Representatives. However, since so many judges and attorneys in Floyd County have been law partners, or have political connections to Mr. Stumbo; it is no surprise he got elected.
On the other hand, you have a choice tomorrow. Choose a leader that doesn’t have lawsuits hanging over his hand. Choose a leader you can morally respect; that choice is most certainly NOT Mr. Stumbo.
Sincerely yours,
Amy Mischler
Oh snap!

I will agree that Stumbo should be investigated then indicted.
