Wouldn’t you know it – Jennifer Moore strikes again. This time by breaking campaign finance law by illegally sending out a Christmas card featuring only the governor and his family, paid for by the Kentucky Democratic Party. Never mind that the party couldn’t even pay its staff – it’s sending out illegal Christmas cards instead. And, the governor’s office? Not being aware of campaign finance law is not a valid excuse– even if it’s true. Let’s stop this campaign finance corruption, people. [Bluegrass Politics]
We need this! For real. It has Barbara Bush in it! [Goods for Me]
Does this remind you of anyone? Manhattan Surrogate’s Court Judge Nora Anderson was indicted for concealing the source of $250,000 in campaign finance contributions she allegedly made to herself. Unfortunately for Ka… er, her, the money came from someone else. In this case, her boss and campaign adviser. [City Room]
Only one or two known homosexuals in all the land called in gay yesterday. Everyone is too broke and hungry to, you know, give up an entire day’s wages. [AP]
Steve Henry and his former Miss America wife are requesting $5 “donations” when you visit the museum they own called the Rosemary Clooney House. Never mind that Henry hasn’t cleared up issues he has with the IRS over the museum. Never mind that it is not a non-profit operation. So, be wary when you visit. Maybe ask to take a look at their books before you give them money. [Enquirer]

so..will anything come of this info regarding King? Considering the city we live in and the ties her father has will this just be something that Jim just has to shrug his shoulders at and laugh off. Seems like a charge similar to the one with the judge in NY would be justified, and it warrants looking into. What about the ethics charges on top of this? Has anyone heard what happened with those?
