Our idol has been hospitalized!

Former first lady Barbara Bush is expected to be released from Methodist Hospital today after spending the night there because of a “little bit of pain,” family spokesman Jim McGrath said.

Bush, 83, was driven to the hospital by her husband about dinner time Tuesday and walked in on her own, McGrath said. He added that all tests have had negative results thus far.

The former first lady had suffered some abdominal pain for “a couple of days” before deciding to go to Methodist, in the Texas Medical Center, McGrath added.

Former President George H.W. Bush, 84, stayed with his wife overnight, he said.

“Fortunately, it looks like it’s going to be a small matter,” McGrath said.

Oh, wait, she’s going to be okay. We were about to break out into a panic over our favorite first lady.
