Sometimes you do things because you have to or because you don’t realize they’re wrong. Doesn’t excuse your actions. But some people– especially those without a real grasp of what’s going on in a particular area– could do a lot of things they wouldn’t do if they knew what was really going down.

Everyone should go on up there to Frankfort on Saturday. Or over there or down there, or whatever. It happens to be up there from here. Its supposed to be at 1pm at the state headquarters.

Acknowledging that I’m using a ridiculous example to make a point, but shouldn’t Nazi’s who killed Jews be held responsible for their actions eventhought they were following orders?

You just said it yourself. He was following orders.

I.E., he’s not the one upon which blame should be placed.

Actually he was very involved in Louisville at the 48th LD elections in April, later at the Galt House, and in Lexington at the state convention, however you spell his name. I dont know who he is or who he was or where he is now, but he ran the 48th LD – ask you friend Olivia Fox or Preston Bates, and then he ran the 3rd District fiasco in Lexington, taking direct orders from Tandy and Longmeyer. The three of them are the reason you had so much to write about this summer. Wright was very involved. Tandy and Longmeyer were his bosses.

Our long state and local nightmare is over.

For the first time in months, there are signs of intelligent Democratic life in Frankfort. Let’s hope it’s a sign of better things to come.
