Like I said all along, it wasn’t just about beating McConnell– which I didn’t think was possible. It was about keeping all of Mitch McConnell’s $20 million IN Kentucky so he couldn’t help maintain a Republican majority.

Like it or not, Bruce’s money helped save several House and Senate seats around the country this cycle.

That said– fuck whether or not Bruce was a good candidate that was forced upon you by idiot Chuck Schumer. If you’re a Democratic Party official? You have rules to abide by or you face expulsion. End of story.

Who voted for who in Lexington aside, this is further proof that Lunsford was a terrible nominee and the Washington guys who pushed for it made a big mistake. There were plenty of other Democrats who felt the same way about Lunsford.

As someone who was in the Fayette County HQ quite a bit, there was serious resentment against Lunsford with some of the top people.

What stupidity, we had the chance to knock off the senate minority leader and certain people just couldn’t get past the ’03 fiasco. It was just too much to replace a neo-con with a Democrat huh?

Get over yourselves. Those who went for McConnell or McCain should be banned from. That goes for anyone inside of the KDP.

This appears to be a job for the new By-Laws Committee appointed by Ms. Moore. George Mills of Lexington is the committee chair. I do not know who the other members are. Persons with information on these alleged violations need to contact Mr. Mills. They could also contact Mr. O’Neill who is the Fayette County Chair and is also a member of the State Committee.

Kentucky Democratic Party by-laws forbid any committee member (from precinct to State Central) or Chair (from precinct captain to Jennifer Moore herself) from supporting anyone other than the Democratic nominee.

Historically, there have been instances where a blind eye has been turned to such violations. An example of this was last year, when KDP treated (crazy Dem) David Williams like he didn’t exist and all but endorsed Richie Farmer. The Kentucky U.S. Senate Race wasn’t such an instance.

As far as removal goes, the entire LD committee will need to set as a jury more or less and the question is on whether or not Jennifer Miller failed to support the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate, NOT whether she should remain LD Chair. If I recall, one found guilty of this is barred from holding party offices for two years.

Why reward Detroit for being irresponsible? Americans buy vehicles based on performance, price, MPG, and dependability. If Detroit changes they will succeed, otherwise a government bailout only delays the problem.
I dare say that there are many Ford, Chevy and Chysler workers who shop at Wal-Mart. Why is that do you think?
