Oh Oh! Kathy Groob Says We’re Unfair!

November 12th, 2008 · 13 Comments

We just received a fancy email from Kathy Groob.

Name: Kathy Groob

Email: kathy@kathygroob.com

Subject: Your postings

Message: Mr. Payne, I would like to speak with you regarding the
continued vicious comments that you have been writing about me.
Would you please give me a telephone number so that I can call you?
I understand that running for office makes you fair game for the
media and bloggers, but feel you have been unfair and would like to
try to set the record straight.

IP: **.**.***.12
HOST: CN-ESR*-**-**-***-**.fuse.net

Isn’t that nice? She thinks we’ve been unfair to her.

Since we do everything above-board and feel Kathy deserved much worse than we’ve said about her, here’s our response:

Kathy–

You’re welcome to send a statement that we will publish, but I won’t waste my time speaking with you. Not after the bullshit you pulled by spending Kentucky Democratic Party dollars to limit a woman’s choice. Not after the bullshit you’ve pulled over the last few years as “Kate Hudson” and “Lemonysnip” by leaving comments on various Kentucky websites.

I honestly hope I contributed to your much-deserved loss.

Best of luck to you!

If she responds, we’ll publish it. Hopefully she won’t and Kentucky will be done with her forever.

UPDATE: No, it’s not typical “Democrat” fashion or even Democratic fashion.

Mark Foley liked cybersexing young guys. Is that typical Republican– or Republic– fashion? Hardly. Anne Northup likes to blame other people for her foibles. Is that typical?

Kathy Groob’s behavior is purely Kathy Groob’s behavior. It’s not unique to the Democratic Party.

We don’t have time for dishonest spin from anyone.

UPDATE 2: HAHAHA! We’ve been Groobed! Click the clicky!

God bless fellow Eli, William F. Buckley Jr. (God rest his soul). Before he died, he had the wisdom to say that all conservatives/Republicans who used the whole “Democrat” as adjective are worse than unintellectual: they’re morons. Kentucky has a lot of conservative/Republican morons in its blogosphere.

My money’s on Jake in any catfight. Kathy, you’re a fool for taking this one on.

Jake, I hope you and three time loser Bruce Lunsford live happily ever after.

  • 6 jake // Nov 12, 2008 at 2:27 pm

We will. In gay homo wedded bliss. We’ll spend our days discussing the various ways Kathy has deceived people over the years.

    “set the record straight”

    That means deny, deny, deny

Democrats (Kathy included) should be taking cues from the President-elect:

“(10) Writings: Please list and, if readily available, provide a copy of each book , article, column, or publication (including but not limited to any posts or comments on blogs or other websites) you have authored, individually or with others. Please list all aliases or “handles” you have used to communicate on the Internet.”

Thanks, Jake, for calling her out on her anti-choice shiz. I am sick to death of Republicrats. This is exactly why I didn’t volunteer or give to the Dem party – just candidates I like.
I suggest everyone do the same until the D party gets it together and stops trying to be Republican lite.

Jake, as a infrequent reader of this blog, please be advised that I did not know you were gay.

Had I know that at the time I made the comment about you and Bruce, I would have made my non-sexual meaning more clear.

It was not my intention to make a derogatory comment about you sexuality.

I now know why you took it as such, and for that I am sorry.

  • 11 jake // Nov 14, 2008 at 8:54 am

Ha. I didn’t take it as a gay slur, didn’t even cross my mind. It’s just how I responded.

  • 12 briansmith // Nov 14, 2008 at 9:54 am

    You’re GAY??!!

  • 13 jake // Nov 14, 2008 at 9:57 am
