That’s right. More ridiculous mail pieces from Katie King. She is now touting her experience as an intern (SERIOUSLY!) and discusses all the things that she will do that no judicial candidate in their right mind would ever say.
Take a look:

What is wrong with this girl? And what is wrong with her daddy, Metro Council President Jim King? He’s been calling media 24/7 trying to sway this for his daughter. He’s called Rick multiple times– trying to harm David Holton. And Francene just mentioned on the radio that he’s been calling her. All right for pressuring people.
Wasn’t it just this week that Katie King was pandering to Republicans with a mail piece targeted solely to the right?
Well, imagine our absolute shock upon discovering photos of her from Wednesday’s Democratic Rally in Louisville! Shock, we tell you!

P.S. Jim King just sent out an email blast from his corporate email account. He’s still working for his daughter.
Here’s hoping Katie’s campaign will be paying the King Corporate Group for the use of its corporate email. Otherwise, Jim and Katie have a fancy campaign finance violation on their hands.

Why does the fact that you are using her mail piece on your website mean we must cite you as a source if we use it?

If you’re swiping images from this website that are digitally watermarked, we require that you cite us.
We didn’t create the images for folks to swipe them without appropriate referencing.
Use common courtesy. Mainstream media sources us when they swipe our stuff, bloggers should do the same.

If King is going to tout her intern experience, someone should ask if the internship she’s referencing is something she sought out on her own or was merely the public service graduation requirement at U of L’s law school (students must have at least 30 years of public service in order to graduate). If this was the reason she held the particular internship, perhaps she should also reference the core classes she completed in law school in order to graduate? I mean, her credentials are weak enough already; might as well say “I’m fit to be a judge because I took criminal law in school!”

This means I’m fit to be a plastic surgeon because I once interned in a plastic surgeons office, right???

I love that she includes “warning order attorney” as part of her “experience”.

Hey, she’s also been an intern!

Haha, please accept my apologies for the typo in my previous post — students need 30 hours of public service to graduate, not 30 years :)

I am still trying to figure out how being a Louisville Scholar Athlete is a qualifying factor for being a district judge. It’s not the same as say being on law review is it?

Obama she’s not.

More like Harriett Miers.

Maybe she’s knowingly putting this out there so if she wins every lawyer that might come before her requests a different judge citing her stances and how she will lean. This way she won’t have any cases and can sleep in after a night of football, tooting shit up her nose, and sticking extacy up her ass, instead of having to make up excuses.

“Miss King is a hard worker who has real promise as a public servant”…but we don’t support her and endorsed her opponent, and we sorta have to say that so her daddy doesn’t get pissed and mad at us…..Courier-Journal

Louisville deserves better. This is a good race to send a message to the law community that the public pays attention to Judge races and takes the seriously.
Perhaps with a King loss, we will not have to endure this garbage in the future. Holton seems to be a wonderful choice anyway.

What she is doing, oh heck who are we kidding, what daddy Metro Council President Jim King is doing is trying to buy his daughter an election.
It must be hard for him when Katie cries “but daddy I cannot get to work on time because I party to hard late night. They are picking on me it isn’t my fault.”
Well being the good ole daddy Jim King he has to take care of his baby girl doesn’t he? His response “It is ok honey daddy will buy you an election so no one can make you come to work if you don’t want to.”
Yep I can picture it.
Jim King is violating law in this election and abusing his power as Metro Council president. I filed a JCC complaint today showing the violations. We shall see what happens.
Based on the letter from Katie herself appointing her dad as treasurer is yet one other example of how they are flaunting the law. Jim of course is tryng to spin it and acting like he didn’t know or think it is a violation but hey do we expect any less.
This guy wants to be Mayor and establish his own KINGdom in Louisville. Let’s start holding him accountable as well since Katie isn’t smart enough to do this herself.

I noticed yesterday on my way to the Board of Elections warehouse at 16th & Main (I’m a pollworker and had to pick up stuff) that Katie has blanketed W. Main with signs reminding people to turn the ballot over and vote for her. Seriously, every utility pole on both sides of the street for block after block. I’ve e-mailed the city to see if this isn’t illegal. I’m pretty sure you’re not supposed to post things on utility poles, and I believe there’s a law about campaign sings in the public right of way, and this would seem to violate both. I’m thinking if it was legal to post campaign signs on a utility pole, others would have done so by now. I have the misfortune of living in Jim King’s district and you don’t see one of his signs without one of hers (which are bigger) next to it!
