The obese whiny ass titty baby brigade has filed charges against Achim Bergmann– who didn’t even touch the silly little audio recorder!
Good god.
Desperation is setting in.
We don’t know what’s more ridiculous– that Scott Jennings, who was deeply involved in the national disgrace of firing U.S. Attorneys because of their political affiliation and the ensuing cover-up with Karl Rove, is still involved in the Chief Chickenhawk’s campaign– or that some old fat guys filed a lawsuit against someone who wasn’t even involved in handling Mitch McConnell’s little audio recorder.
Can’t wait to see Scott the Blowhard out and about. To think he and his sugar daddy Mitch McConnell would attempt to waste taxpayer dollars with such a juvenile and petty lawsuit!

I suspected that an October surprise was imminent.
I’m stunned at how desperate and petty the McConnell camp has become. And it’s really unbecoming, given the meltdown we’re in.
WAAAAH! Gimme back my recorder. WAAAAH.
Whine, cheese and business as usual.

McConnell’s campaign was just angry because Bruce did exactly what they would have done. Good for him.

Oh come on Jake.
You fancy yourself as a powerful and influential member of the media, or something Achim … I mean akin to it.
What if you had put a recorder there to get some sound bites, and you found that it had been taken, and when you got it back the recordings had been erased?
You’d probably be mad. You might even be mad enough to file charges.
I guess I’d have filed theft charges after I made bail on assault, because I probably would have slugged Achoo or Dunceford or whomever I perceived to be responsible for the theft of my device and destruction of my property — because that’s what it amounted to.
Just take a minute and think, Jake … if it had been your recorder and you found it missing and when you discovered it in the possession of someone else and found that the information had been erased, would you call yourself a WATB, or would you do something about it to make the thieves pay?
Maybe there will be a civil suit to follow the criminal complaint.
And for someone who’s so fast to correct other people, this wasn’t a “juvenile and petty lawsuit.” These were criminal charges that were filed, not a lawsuit.
How would you like it if someone took your new MacBook and erased everything on it before they gave it back to you?

If I wanted soundbytes I’d use the video recording I was making. Like the McConnell camp could have done.
They purposefully hid the recorder under papers on Bruce’s podium– not Bartleman’s, as Scott alleged.
Even the RPK folks are laughing about this as just a political stunt. So. I’m not taking it very seriously at all– beyond the fact that it’s just, you know, a ridiculous political stunt pulled off by some Rovian hacks who will probably end up in a heap of trouble over their actions while working in the White House.
This is a U.S. Senate campaign. I don’t for one second believe the McConnell crew would leave something in plain site for Bruce to spot and I don’t for one second believe they’d be dumb enough to only have ONE dinky audio recorder to capture the entire debate.

If McConnell loses this election, I’m trying to predict the exact time that I’ll stop laughing after the results are announced. I’m thinking it will be a week.

There must be other video from somebody who might have caught this on tape
