Sarah Palin Got Booed

October 13th, 2008 · 19 Comments

Haha, so, funny story. Sarah Palin dropped the first puck at a Philadelphia Flyers game and she got booed hardcore:

In other news: Has she trained that little girl of hers to be a mini HFH or what?

And Obama-Biden signs in the background to boot!

Seems to me hate is in the McPalin campaign behavior, not the stands.

I don’t know whether or not she’s trained her little girl to be a mini Heather French Henry (whatever that means) but at least her daughter isn’t rude to a sitting US Senator or saying stupid crap like “Why are you trying to kill my daddy?”

If McConnell wasn’t terrified to meet his constituency, he wouldn’t have had that problem to begin with. If he hadn’t ignored Heather Ryan’s daughter– like he does everyone who disagrees with him– she probably wouldn’t have lost her temper.

Either way, that has nothing to do with Sarah Palin parading her children around like it’s cute or whatever. She’s probably scarring them for life.

That little kid is getting on my last nerve. It’s weird the way she’s at every effing rally where her mother speaks. Doesn’t she have to go to school like my kids? And, btw, this is also the kid for whom the state of Alaska reimbursed more travel than anyone else in the entire family except her mother… all in the name of “official business.”
Is this what we have to pay for if, god forbid McPalin is elected??? Geez!!!!!!!!!

    gadfly,

    i’ll deal with you shortly.

briansmith, I’m shaking and quaking in my boots…

gadfly, as an anonymous troll you have nothing to fear. You are brave enough to attack a nine year old girl so I should be the one shaking. As far as your attack goes, I know the child, I know exactly what was said (you have it completely wrong) and I know that it was the sitting Senator that acted like a spoiled brat that night. You should be proud of the fact that your sitting Senator is bold enough to go medieval on a woman and her child, while being wily enough to worm his way out of combat when his number got called. War is for people who don’t know senators! Anyway, McConnell has earned all of the rudeness and disrespect shown to him because of this act of petty revenge. Really, shouldn’t it have been beneath such an august figure as your dear leader? McConnell created this problem, and there will be a second act to it.

Hey, what are you doing?! Watch where you’re driving, man! Don’t mess with the Devils, buddy. We’re number one, we beat anybody! We’re the Devils! The Devils!! Hssss!!!

OK asswipe — I mean briansmith — what exactly was said? Since you know so much?

And if Heather is so pissed at Mitch because he did her so dastardly wrong, why did she run against Whitfield? Why didn’t she take her anger straight to McConnell?

If Heather Ryan gets 25 percent of the vote, I’ll eat my shorts.

I didn’t hear boos….I just heard the music from the stadium. In fact it sounded like there were more cheers than boos, and the people in the lower rows right behind her seemed to be clapping and cheering.

Maybe my speakers aren’t good, but I didn’t hear anything.

  • 12 jake // Oct 13, 2008 at 10:19 pm

Seriously, folks, go watch the video of what went down and see for yourself.

And tony – did you bother reading anything today? Everyone under the sun– from MSNBC to Perez Hilton– were making fun of the boos that you can plainly hear. Definite boos.

  • 13 briansmith // Oct 13, 2008 at 10:27 pm

Since I know so much? Ha! you cowardly troll! I tend to write about issues I have knowledge about. Like Mitch’s military service. And Ed Whitfield’s unapologetic link to a convicted terrorist. And Heather Ryan’s campaign. I suggest you try it sometime as it will give you the appearance of being less foolish. And Heather Ryan WILL get more than 25% so you better start marinating those purty pink panties in some duck-butter, troll.

Go kick a little girl, coward.

    Tony,

The cheers were piped in with the music. The Flyers, a team I hated before this and now only loathe more, turned up the music and cheers as soon as they heard the first boos.

Look at the crowd, most are holding their noses, turning thumbs down and holding up Obama-Biden signs.

As I said, I loathe the Flyers, but I gained some newfound respect for Philadelphia fans.

C’mon briansmith, answer the question. What exactly did she say to McConnell?

Maybe I didn’t get the words exactly right, but I got the gist of what she said right. She asked McConnell why he wanted to kill her daddy or why he wanted to see her daddy die or something similar. The exact words don’t matter, the stupid context behind the words does. How stupid does one have to be to believe that McConnell wants any soldiers to die?

gadfly: Go watch the YouTube video.

    See for yourself.

Don’t rely on others to tell you. Even if I agree with them.

Philadephia fans boo EVERYONE. They have booed SANTA CLAUS. Perhaps not a wise move for Palin, but certainly not indicative of negative feelings. Now throwing batteries, that’s when Philly fans hate you.

You mean the doctored Pence video?

    Hardly.

As I stated in another thread, that would have as much credibility as Greg Stumbo’s wedding vows.

  • 19 jake // Oct 14, 2008 at 11:15 pm

The portion of the video where Heaven yells at McConnell is hardly doctored.
