Heather Ryan is the candidate that Kentucky progressives have been impatiently waiting for. She doesn’t need to prove that she understands the challenges facing the citizens of Western Kentucky because she faces those challenges every day. Ed Whitfield isn’t worried about losing his home in the First Congressional District because he doesn’t live in the First Congressional District. Ed Whitfield isn’t worried about the price of gas in Western KY because he owns a half million dollars of Exxon and Chevron stock. Ed Whitfield doesn’t care about the WKY veteran who has to leave the state to get to her nearest VA clinic because Ed Whitfield has the best healthcare your money can buy. “Exxon” Ed Whitfield shares only one fear with his constituents and that is the fear of losing his job.

Ed Whitfield seems to think that because he represents the Purchase that his votes are for sale. Heather Ryan will end the practice of auctioning off WKY’s voice in Congress to the highest bidder. Heather Ryan will return ownership of congress to the people, the rightful owners of Ed Whitfield’s seat of power. If you can’t vote for her, show your support by giving money until the bank calls.
