How many times did the Federal Election Commission contact the Kentucky Democratic Party over the past year in an attempt to request additional required information? Seven times.
Take a look:
- March 7 – Transfer of federal dollars to non-federal accounts
- April 7 – Improper filing schedule without notification
- May 9 – Incorrect totals
- June 23 – Incorrect totals again, Improper administrative expenses
- July 7 – Incorrect totals, Incorrect beginning cash balance
- July 7 – Potentially illegal corporate contribution, incorrect totals, incorrect event totals, incorrect beginning cash balance
- August 6 – Incorrect totals, Incorrect beginning cash balance
Some of these issues were later addressed, but it is embarrassing for a State Democratic Party to repeatedly have the same problem– to continually be called out by the FEC.
This reflects directly on the lack of leadership at the Kentucky Democratic Party.

The RPK has had some of those also. Not as many in the last year, but tons and tons in prior years.

What year are you reporting?
Last I checked we haven’t reached Sept. 8 yet, and the current party leadership was not in charge LAST Sept. 8!! You seem to want to blame everything on the current party leader, but she was not in charge last Sept. Which year were these other dates, by the way?!!
