  Cindy McCain, by definition, isn’t a cougar. She isn’t chasing younger guys; she hooked one a lot older. That’s more like a gold-digger than a cougar.

  And the only “Pol” I’ve ever “smoked” in my life was one of those old-fashioned Barber Pole peppermint sticks. Can you even get those things anymore?

  “Cougar McCain” is a term coined by Wonkette and other political humor sites. And she had her own millions. Papaw John is actually the gold digger in that relationship.

  As a matter of fact, I saw those big peppermint sticks at Ruth Hunt a few years ago. Mmmm. Cream candy. OMG.

  There was an old country store, long since gone, about a mile from where I grew up that had those big peppermint sticks, about 8 inches to a foot long and about as big around as a D battery if not bigger. You practically had to break it into pieces to eat it. Aaah, the good old days.
