Anne Northup Has Officially Jumped Into Deep End of the Pool Without Floaties

July 23rd, 2008 · 11 Comments

Anne Northup’s congressional campaign sent out an email blast touting support of conservative blogger Jefferson Poole of Blue Grass Red State. Northup’s blast said Poole was “holding John Yarmuth accountable” by attacking him with her campaign spin.

Call us crazy, but doesn’t this now mean John Yarmuth’s congressional campaign can start touting everything we say about HER? Does she really want THAT to happen?

Thanks, Anne, for opening up this can of worms. Maybe we’ll start to talk about some things that regularly occur at K.T.’s and Ditto’s in Louisville soon. Maybe we’ll even publish photographs. That’d give John’s campaign some absolutely great material to play with.

Goodness gracious. RPK/Local GOP: You need to reel that woman’s campaign in STAT. Somebody needs to rescue her ass. Immediately.

your tease is not news. everyone in Louisville knows that Anne is a “strong supporter” of Kentucky’s distilleries and the adult beverage industry.

It’s not crazy - he could have done that a long time ago. Now you just have to write something worth repeating. ;)

And there you go again with the politics of fear and distraction. Talking about who did what at what local eateries is ridiculous, and it never fed a hungry child. This is not what the American people are concerned about.

American people are concerned about the rising price of gasoline - which is causing the price of many other items to rise. John Yarmuth is in the unfortunate position of being on the wrong side of this issue, and his party has been wrong on this issue for at least 20 years.

    That really sucks for him.

Has Anne Northup ever fed a hungry child? Or did she just tell that hungry child to use its bootstraps and give it a tax cut?

I bet Anne has fed on a hungry child before. Yep, I said it. She eats babies.

Well, giving it a tax cut would mean more money in its pocket to buy food, instead of that money going to the government to be spent on God knows what. Which is the whole point of tax cuts — letting people keep more of their own money for the things they need to buy.

Or you could tell that baby to grow gills!

  • 8 Weatherman // Jul 24, 2008 at 2:34 pm

I’ll take the tax cut, thanks.

Does the baby have any income on which to claim a tax cut? If not, how’s that cut gonna help it? More likely the tax cut will be financed by borrowing more money from the Chinese which will mean that the baby will have to pay more taxes in the future when it does get a job just to keep up with the interest.

I’m sure that’s why the Weatherman want the tax cut– he gets to enjoy it now while that poor baby pays in the future.

She has fed hungry children by adopting several.

were they hungry? I seriously doubt it. Annie has no use for the hungry - they aren’t working hard enough to support the tax evading wealthy. I imagine those babies were very well fed at orphanages that get tons of public money and don’t permit gay couples to adopt. Something Beshear (or at least Janie Miller) also opposes - gays adopting and using tax dollars to prevent it, that is.
