Governor Steve Beshear on Election 2008

July 7th, 2008 · 1 Comment

Been wondering where Steve Beshear stands on the upcoming election in November?

Here’s a breakdown: According to the governor, nobody in Kentucky knows who eventual President Barack Obama is, but we’ll bring him to Kentucky 24/7. The governor still touts Hillary Clinton as a vice presidential candidate, but we’re not sure if that’s because he’s still trying to play to the Clinton base. And he’s strongly supporting Bruce Lunsford over Mitch McConnell.

Hillary makes the most sense to be VP. She has the largest base for the democrats that any democrat could bring.
I assume if Hillary had won the primary, she should not have picked Obama? Right.
